OPENING HOURS TO THE PUBLIC

Tuesday to Saturday – from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 16:30 to 19:30

On days when there are performances at the Sferisterio, the ticket office is open from 20:00 until the start of the performance.
On Sundays and Mondays when there is a performance at the Sferisterio, the ticket office is open from 4.30pm until the start of the performance.

Please note that reduced-price tickets cannot be transferred to persons who are not entitled to the reduction.
In the event of an inspection, the public is required to present an official document certifying their entitlement to the reduction to the Arena staff. If the ticket does not comply, entry to the theatre will not be permitted.

The Open options allow you to enjoy the Macerata Opera Festival with greater freedom, avoiding the need to choose a fixed date and seat and guaranteeing savings on the purchase of individual tickets.

Two types of Open packages are available:
– Open 3 shows: 1 ticket for each title on the programme, with a 25% discount in the Gold and Platinum sectors.
– Open 6 shows: 2 tickets for each title, with a 30% discount in the same sectors (Gold and Platinum).

Open tickets can be used on the following dates:
Nabucco: 26 July and 1 August
Il Barbiere di Siviglia: 24 July and 2 August
Il Trovatore: 19 and 25 July

With the Open Formula, you can purchase today, save money and have up to an hour before the start of the show to choose which opera to see, subject to seat availability.

Please note that in the event of a show being cancelled due to force majeure (bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances), Open tickets cannot be cancelled or refunded, but will automatically be moved to the next available date.

Accompanying Adult Voucher (Over 30): €40.00
Available exclusively at the Teatro di Macerata Box Office and only when purchasing 4 Under 18 tickets at the same time.

Important Information

Special Under 18 (ages 14–18)

To support young people aged 14 to 18 who may have difficulty reaching the Sferisterio independently, it is possible to purchase 1 accompanying adult voucher for every 4 Under 18 tickets.
The purchase must be made simultaneously.

Seat Allocation for Accompanying Adults

Young ticket holders may freely choose their preferred seating sector at the time of purchase.
The accompanying adult will receive a voucher, which must be converted into a ticket on the evening of the event at the box office, exclusively in the presence of the four Under 18 ticket holders.

Please note: the seat for the accompanying adult will be assigned by the box office at the time of conversion; proximity to the group of young attendees is not guaranteed.

Eligibility Verification

Reduced-price tickets are strictly personal and non-transferable. A valid ID may be required upon entry. Failure to provide proof of eligibility may result in refusal of admission.

In accordance with current regulations on public safety at the Arena Sferisterio, seats reserved for persons with disabilities at the Macerata Opera Festival are allocated as follows:

– People with disabilities in wheelchairs: 6 seats ‘outside chairs’ (3 on each side) in the red section of the stalls and 8 seats ‘outside chairs’ (4 on each side) in the green section of the stalls; Companions seated behind wheelchairs, ticket price 25 Euros for the red section and 40 Euros for the green section
The entrance reserved for wheelchair users is number 5.

– People with disabilities without wheelchairs (and with a disability rating of over 70%): free seats in the red section for a maximum of 10 seats per evening; accompanying persons €25. In the latter case, it is possible to change sections with a 50% reduction on the ticket price.

In the case of requests from organisations and communities, further concessions are available, with admission at a cost of €1 for guests with disabilities and at a cost of €25 for accompanying persons, with seating on a platform, subject to the limits set out in the regulations and availability of seats.
